DEATHS
Funeral services for Leo smith, 59, were held at Johnson-Moore Chapel Monday, April 6 at 2:30 p.m.  Rev. W. Hodges and Rev. J. Smith conducted the services and burial was in Fairview Cemetery
Smith died suddenly from a heart attack in Odessa at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 4.  He lived on Route 3, Denison.  He was a native of Grayson county, born October 10, 1900, son of Mr. and Mrs. L.S. Smith.  He received his schooling at White Rock.  He was a sales representative for a furniture store, and a Methodist.
Survivors are his father, L.S. Smith, Route 3; 2 daughters, Mrs. Lois Werts of Inglewood, California and Mrs. Dorothy Ross of Denison; 3 sisters, Mrs. Henry Holms and Mrs. Robert Blankenship of Denison; and Mrs. A.R. Laws of Wichita Falls.
