Funeral services for John N. Dunn, who died Tuesday at his home, 223 W. Owing, were held Thursday from the
Short-Murray chapel.  Interment was at Fairview.
Mr. Dunn was born in Faulkner County, Arkansas, March 21, 1879, the son of Mr. and Mrs. W.B. Dunn.  He was reared and educated in Arkansas and came to Coleman, Texas, as a young man.  He was engaged in farming there for a while and on December 4, 1911, was married to Miss Lula Mae Threet in Ft. Worth.  After his retirement from farming in 1942, Mr. and Mrs. Dunn moved to Denison.
Surviving are his widow; 6 sons, Loy Dunn, Durant; Melvie and Cecil Dunn, U.S. Army; and Arlee, Alvie and Curtis Dunn,
all of Denison; a daughter, Miss Irene Dunn, Denison; 6 brothers, Eddie, Barney and Grady Dunn, all of
Freeport; James and George Dunn of Coleman; and Buster Dunn of Ft. Worth; 2 susters, Mrs. Leila Pennington, Coleman; and Mrs. Maud Ralston, Ft. Towson, Oklahoma; and 8 grandchildren.
