services were held Tuesday at Bratcher-Moore, chapel for Mrs. Clara
May, 66, of 1422 S. Armstrong, who died in a local hospital Sunday
after 6 days of illness. The Rev. W. O. Bucy officiated and
interment was in Fairview cemetery.
Mrs May was born in Denison Jan. 15, 1886, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James B. Shaw. She attended schools in Denison and was married in Ardmore in 1921 to Charles L. May. She was a member of Trinity Methodist church. Survivors include her husband, two daughters, Mrs. Lois Schmidt, Fort Worth, and Mrs. Pauline Adams, Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. E. H. Flanningan, Denison, and Mrs. E. E. Jackson, Fort Worth and two grandchildren.
