DENISON - Graveside services for Mrs. Daisy M. Young of Denison, 92-year-old retired owner and operator of Young's Grocery and Market, will be held at 2 p.m. today in Fairview Cemetery. She died Sunday at Texoma Medical Center.
Dr. Steve Mansen will officiate. Arrangements are under the direction of Bratcher Funeral Home.
Mrs. Young was born in Decatur, Mo., daughter of John Wesley and Helen Amanda Williams Wesley, and married William
A. Young on July 22, 1913, in Noel, Mo.
She was owner and operator of Young's Grocery for 20 years. She also was a practical nurse, retiring in 1974. She was a member of the First Christian Church, and a life member of the Gate City Chapter of the Eastern Star.
Surviving is her daughter, Virginia G. Winchester of Denison; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
