Mrs. Mary Ramsey Freeman
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Ramsey Freeman who died in a local hospital Sunday were conducted by Rev. James Spivey Monday from the Short-Murray chapel with interment at Fairview.  Mrs. Freeman lived at 520 W. Crawford for the past 21 years and had been in ill health for eight months.
Born at Brooklyn, New York, November 10, 1879, her parents were Mr. and Mrs. John Russell. She was educated in the schools of Ft. Worth and married February 11, 1897 to H.Y. Freeman, wire chief of the telegraph department of the Katy.  She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Surviving are her husband; a son, William Y., Jr. of the U.S. Marines, and a daughter, Mrs. J.R. Redmon, Houston; besides two sisters, Mrs. B.B. Getsendanner, Ft. Worth and Mrs. J.E. Hodges, Ft. Worth and one grandson.
