DEATHS
Lenton L. Potts, Sr.
Bratcher-Moore Funeral Directors are in charge of arrangements for the funeral of Lenton L. Potts, Sr., 59, of 1307 Bullock, who died Sunday afternoon in a local hospital.
Mr. Potts, a resident of Denison for 48 years, was born in Balm, Texas, Dec. 27, 1890, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Potts.  He attended Denison schools and resided in Cooke county before coming to Denison.  He served in the US Army during WWI, in the 359th infantry.
Survivors are his widow; two sons, Lenton L. Potts, Jr., Denison and Scott Potts, Houston; a brother, W. Scott Potts, Gainesville; three sisters, Mrs. Neal V. Powers, Mrs. H.E. McElroy and Mrs. D.G. Newton of Denison; and two grandchildren.

DENISON - Madeline Potts, 80, passed away on Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009 at Texoma Medical Center in Denison. Family night for Madeline will be held from 6 -8 pm, Sunday, Dec. 13, 2009 at Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison, TX 75020. Funeral services for Madeline will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2009 at Parkside Baptist Church, 301 N. Lillis Lane, Denison, with Dr. Chet Haney officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, 1501 N. Hwy 91, Denison. Madeline was born on July 22, 1929, in Caddo, Okla. the daughter of Richard and Mable Ann (Nelson) Braudrick. Madeline and Lindzy D. Anderson, Sr. were married in 1948. She later married L.L. Potts in Nov. 1966 in Denison. Madeline worked for K-Woolens, J.C. Penney and Associate Finance. She enjoyed spending her time as a Cub Scout leader for many years.
She loved to garden, bowl, and spend time with her family and to play 42 (dominoes). Madeline was a member of Parkside Baptist Church in Denison. Madeline is survived by daughters Susie Lewis and husband Scott, and Elaine Dalke and husband Greg all of Denison; son, Lindzy D. Anderson of Denison; sisters Mary Lou Sherrod and husband Wesley of Durant, Okla., and Dorothy Johnson of Durant, Okla., and Imogene Williamson and husband W.B. of Cartwright, Okla.; brothers Bill Braudrick and Luke Braudrick of Durant, Okla, and Don Braudrick of Scurry; grandchildren Paden Lewis,
Daniel Anderson, Rachel Giordano, Brittany Dalke, Marc Dalke; great-grandchildren, Zachary Lewis, Libby Giordano,
Naomi Giordano, Shelby Boatner, and Coulyton Boatner. Arrangements are entrusted to the care and direction of Bratcher Funeral Home, 401 W. Woodard St., Denison.
