Denison - A memorial service was held Sunday for George Kohfeldt, 85, a native of Denison who died Wednesday in Dallas.
Kohfeldt was born December 14, 1903, son of Franz and Josie Kohfeldt of
Denison. He graduated from Denison High School in 1921. He was employed
with the M.K.T. railroad as an electrical engineer before moving to
Dallas. He was a member of the First Unitarian Church of Dallas.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Lou Stevenson of Princeton, New
Jersey and Frances Ann Mallery of Phoenix, Arizona; 6 grandchildren and
several nieces and nephews.
