Funeral services for Robert H. Jones were conducted Thursday morning at the Short-Murray chapel with Rev. Guy Newman officiating, followed by interment at Fairview.  Mr. Jones died at the Katy Employees Hospital Monday following an illness of 1 year.
Born March 4, 1880 in Hamilton county, Texas, he was the son of Mr. and Mrs. H.C. Jones and his education was received
in that county.   He was married February 25, 1908 at Denison to Miss Mayme Talley and was a member of the Baptist church.
Surviving are his widow, mother, Mrs. Alice Jones; and one son, Robert Doland Jones.  Brothers surviving are George of Ft. Worth; Oscar of Austin, Texas; and Ted of Kansas City, Missouri.  Sisters are Mrs. Kate McFadden, Denison; Mrs. Willie Dunagan, Waco; Mrs. Bunnie Alexander, Hico and Mrs. Connie Redmon, Houston.
