Funeral services for Mrs. Fannie Luckie, 74, were held at Bratcher Funeral Home Thursday afternoon.  Rev. Duke R. Barron, pastor of Waples Methodist Church officiated and interment was in Fairview Cemetery.
Mrs. Luckie died suddenly at her home, 2105 W. Bond, Tuesday evening after several months of illness.  She had just been removed from Madonna hospital where she was recovering from a stroke suffered recently.
Mrs. Luckie was the widow of George O. Luckie, Katy employee who died in 1945. They came to Denison from St. Louis 36 years ago, and for many years until his death, lived at 1331 W. Woodard.  She was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John L. Berridge and was born in St. Louis August 5, 1883.  She was married to Mr. Luckie in St. Louis June 18, 1904.  She was a member of Waples Memorial Methodist Church where she was active in the Dorcas Sunday School class and the Womens Society of Christian Service.
