Sunday, January 22, 1893 Mrs. Lola R. Riviere, wife of Mr. George Riviere, who has been with the depot saloon for a number of years, died at the family home in South Denison, 305 East Hull street, on Thursday, Jan. 19. The remains were interred in Fairview Cemetery Thursday evening. The lady was in her 28th year of age, and was married to Mr. Riviere in South Georgia something over a year ago. Mrs. Riviere was a most excellent lady. She was of an old and highly honored family from South Central Georgia and those who knew her best loved her most. Cut off in the vigor of young womanhood and at the beginning of a life that promised so much love, devotion and happiness, the death is peculiarly sad to husband, family and friends.
