Denison - Graveside services for Guy L. Hosford, 76, who died Saturday at a local hospital, will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday
at Fairview Cemetery. Leroy Sedgwick of the Armstrong Avenue Church of Christ will conduct the service.

Mr. Hosford was born in Pottsboro Oct.9, 1904, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Guy Edward Hosford. He married Rex Scoggin June
1, 1925 in Dallas. He was a retired Katy employee, member of the Armstrong Avenue Church of Christ, American Association of Retired Persons and the Association of Retired Railroad Men.

Survivors include his wife, of Denison; a son, Jerry N. Hosford, Austin; daughter, Mrs. D.A. Trammell, Arlington; two brothers, Raymond, Mount Pleasant and Eugene, of Austin; four sisters, Mrs. Frank Beckleman and Mrs. Ralph Sharpe,
both of Denison; Mrs. Sidney Tipton, Fort Worth and Mrs. G.W. Veazey, Houston; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.

The family will be at the home, 612 W. Hanna.
Donations may be made to the Denison Public Library or the Armstrong Avenue Church of Christ.
Pallbearers are L.I. Nearmyer, Bob Hill, Gene Stringer, Bill Schwetky, Austin Mitchell, Otis Williams, Paul Neidert and Raymond Cullar.

Denison - Funeral of Rex Scoggin Hosford, 85, of Denison, who died June 13, 1992, in the Care Inn Nursing Home will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with Everett Hodges officiating. Burial will be in the Fairview Cemetery under the direction of Johnson Moore Funeral Home.
Mrs. Hosford was born Nov. 6, 1906 in Alba, daughter of Hicks and Julia Smith Scoggin. She attended Denison schools, Grayson County and Austin Colleges. Mrs. Hosford married Guy L. Hosford, June 1, 1925, in Dallas, he died April 12, 1980.
A bookkeeper for the Denison Cotton Mill she was a member of the Central Church of Christ, the XXI Club, Denison Garden Club, Royal Neighbors, Denison Art Club, VFW Auxiliary, Denison Genealogy Society, Texoma Squares, SNAP.
Surviving are a son, Jerry Hosford of Denison; seven grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7-8 tonight.
