Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at the Bratcher-Moore chapel for Robert T. Dunn, 63, resident of Denison for 35 years, who died at the McKinney City-County hospital Tuesday morning.  Rev. Guy Newman of Waco officiated and burial was in Fairview cemetery.
Mr. Dunn was born in Polk County, Tennessee, October 21, 1886, son of Mr. and Mrs. W.W. Dunn.  He was educated in Tennessee and was married in 1917 to Mrs. Laura Talley.
He served in the Navy during the 1st World War and received a disability discharge.
He was past commander of the American Legion and a former leader in the Collinsville Masonic lodge and was a member of the Baptist Church.
Survivors include his widow; 2 foster sons, Vernon Beckham of Denison and Leland Beckham of Dallas; 2 brothers, Charles M. Dunn of Lindsay, Oklahoma and Waynett  Dunn of Dallas; and 4 grandchildren,
