services for Claud Brooks, 71, retired Katy roundhouse foreman, were
conducted Tuesday with Bratcher directing and Rev. W. A. Brooks
officiating.
Brooks was born at Crockett, March 21, 1888, and married Lula A. Burk at Chickasaw, Okla., on June 21, 1915. He moved here from Fort Worth three years ago and lived at 309 South Fannin. Brooks was a member of the First Baptist church and Tabernacle Masonic Lodge in Fort Worth. Survivors include his widow and two sisters, Mrs. Emma Burroughs and Mrs. J. R.
