February 22, 1922 WOMAN BURNED TO DEATH AND BODY FOUND IN YARD Sherman, February 1 - Members of the family of Muton Adkins of Bells were shocked Sunday morning when they awoke and found the charred body of Mrs. Mollie Reed, 65 years old, in the yard near the entrance to the home. Mrs. Reed was the mother of Mrs. Adkins and had been burned to death some time during the night. No one heard the woman get up during the night, but it is supposed that she did and in standing near a fire her clothes caught alight and then she ran into the yard.
