DISPUTING OVER THE MONEY
Last winter the body of GUs Voight, of this city, was found in a fish net in Red River near Carpenter Bluff, 7 miles east of Denison.  It was generally believed that VOight committed suicide, though the positive cause of his death will probably never be known.  He was a member of Widkikind Lodge, Sons of Herman, and carried a life policy for $1000.  From papers found in his possession it was learned that he had a wife in Germany.  Correspondence followed and shortly after it was found that VOight had another wife, No. 2, living in Cincinnati.  Both laides claim to have marriage certificates and from all the evidence it seems that Voicht was a muchly married man.  The CIncinnati lady has been pushing her suit for all it is worth and not wishing to become involved in a law suit with either, the Lodge is wisely biding its time.  The matter has been submitted to the Grand Lodge of the state for settlement.
