Joseph Franklin Fulenchek (b. 1854) married Johanna (b. 1852 - d. 1930) in Czechoslovakia and, then, came to the United States, living first in Kansas. Eventually moving to Oklahoma, Joe and Johanna lived and died in Mangum, Oklahoma. They are buried in the Russell Cemetery.  

Their son, Joe, married Lizzie McAlister. They lived in Arkansas and moved to Sherman, Texas in a covered wagon. Eventually they moved to Wolf Ranch near Gordonville.  Their son, Joe Mark Fulenchek, was born on Wolf Ranch November 20, 1889. Joe and Lizzie are buried in the Gordonville Cemetery.

Joe Mark Fulenchek (11/20/1889 - 9/13/1949) married Ida Bell McAlister (5/27/1886 - 1/9/1971) married on May 17, 1908. Joe Mark and Ida Bell are buried in the Gordonville Cemetery. Their children were:

  • Vivian Dicy Fulenchek b. August 5, 1910
  • Annie Azelie Fulenchek b. April 10, 1912
  • Rubby Fulenchek b. February 8, 1914 d. April 1914
  • Viola Fulenchek b. May 16, 1915
  • Jossie Fulenchek b. July 14, 1917
  • Joe Thomas Fulenchek b. November 21, 1922
  • Elbert Calvin Fulenchek b. February 3, 1925
  • Paul Fulenchek b. October 3, 1927
Games the children played were ball, made from worn-out sock tops; dominoes; checkers and railroad spelling matching. Endless hours outside were spent on the see-saw and swings. 

The children attended the Overton  School, located halfway between Fink and Locust. On Sunday, the family attended church at Locust Church of Christ.
