Robert J. Hanning, 70, died Sunday at his home in the Ethel Community and funeral services and burial were held Monday at the Church of Christ at Ethel with J.P. Sanders of Sherman, officiating.
Survivors include his wife, four sons, W.O. and A. Hanning of Dorchester; L.C. Hanning of Collinsville, Roy Hanning of Los Angeles; two daughers, Mrs. Cora Farrar of Dorchester, Mrs. May Miller of Los Angeles; two sisters, Mrs. B.F. Moseley of Sherman, Mrs. Will DeSpain of Collinsville; four brothers, Will Hanning of Hayden, OK; John Hanning of Jacksboro, CAL; Hanning of Rowlett and Joe Haning of Rowlett.
Mr. Hanning was born at Collinsville.
