 Pottsboro, Texas  The Herald Democrat Sherman - Rick Baker, 51, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2014 at his home in Sherman. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Wednesday morning at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Sherman. Father Antonio Aureus officiated. Burial followed at Enterprise Cemetery. Rick was born November 8, 1962 in Sherman, son of Richard Walker Baker, Sr. and Claire Connor Baker. He was married to Cindy Cosby in Sherman on March 20, 1985. Rick worked for the City of Sherman in the water department. Rick is survived by his wife, Cindy Baker, of Sherman; son, Ricky Baker and wife, Meagan, of Sherman; daughter, Allison Baker, of Sherman; mother, Claire Baker of Sherman; sister, Cathy Baker, of Sherman; sister, Bonita Calhoun and husband, Roger, of Sherman; sister-in-law, Susan Henricks, of Anna; brother-in-law, Bob "Skip" Cosby and wife, Rachel, of Sherman; and many other relatives. He was preceded in death by his father. Active pallbearers were Brian Conrad, Craig Connor, Charles Ray Connor, Kyle Hagan, Sean Henricks, and John Krenek. Honorary pallbearers were Richard Connor, Frank Connor and Jimmy Denison.
