VAN ALSTYNE - Funeral services for Eddith Pearl McCrain, 90, of Van Alstyne will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, May 12, 2010, in Flesher Funeral Home Chapel in Van Alstyne. Merle Fielder and Jerry McCorkle will officiate, and burial will be in Elliott Cemetery.
She died Friday, May 7, 2010, in Hilltop Haven Nursing Home.

Mrs. McCrain was born June 3, 1919 in Shawnee, Okla., the daughter of Harmon I. and Liddie Mae Lancaster Henson. She married James Chester McCrain on Nov. 28, 1936 in Corcoran. Calif. He preceded her in death.

She was a member of the Church of Christ.

Pallbearers will be grandsons.

Surviving are her sons, James R.McCrain and wife, Glorai of Atlanta, Ga.; John L. McCrain and wife, Julie Ann, of Montrose, Colo.;
and David Jack McCrain and wife, Verna Kay of Monroe, Wash.; daughters, Juanita Louise Hazelton and husband, Merrill, of Van Alstyne and Linda Joyce East of Franklin, Ky.; sisters, Ollie Cullum of Tulare, Calif. and Elizabeth Jeremiah of Roland, Okla.; and 16 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.


The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
