Thursday, November 21, 1946 pg. 10 CONSTABLE DIES OF HEART ATTACK Van Alstyne - Ira McNeely, 43, who was elected in July as constable of Precinct 1, died of a heart attack at 11:15 p.m. Saturday en route to a Sherman hospital. McNeely suffered the attack on the street here shortly after he had arresteed a bootlegger suspect. Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday in the Van Alstyne Baptist Church with Rev. J.G.
