Larry Lee Ferguson of Collinsville, Texas passed to be wtih his Lord and Savior on Thursday, April 22, 2021, blessed with 75 years of life.  Larry was born in Lorraine, Texas on November 19, 1945, to his wonderful parents, Jesse Lee and Bernice Ferguson.  He married his soul mate, Reanna Lynne Richard on August 8, 1969.  Larry was a chief inspector for the Texas State Highway Department for 30 years.  He received awards and accolades for his devoted efforts. Additionally Larry was a very faithful parishioner of the Center Street Church of Christ, where he served many roles.   He found great joy in preaching the Lord's Word and baptizing lost souls with the prison ministry program at the Cole Prison in Bonham, Texas.
Larry is survived by his wife of 51 years; his oldest daughter, Lori Woods of Vernon, Texas and her husband Steve and their children, Mitchell Woods and wife, Allie;  Dakota Hammons, Montana Hammons and Addi Woods.  His youngest daughter, Jennifer Buysse and her children, Tyler Buysse and Ryan Buysse.  He is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law, Ruby and Don Cannon; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents and sister, Shirley Walker and husband, Jerrell.
There was a graveside service Tuesday morning, April 27, 2021 at Elliott Cemetery between Van Alstyne and Gunter, Texas on FM 121. In place of flowers, the family asked for donations on behalf of Larry's memory to the Center Street Church of Christ, Sherman, Texas.

Rev. 21:4 -  "He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and there will be no more death or sorrow or crying or pain. All these thi ngs are gone forever."
