 The Sunday Gazetteer Sunday, October 7, 1900 pg. 4 LOCAL CONDENSATIONS Wednesday, October 3 - Ona Rolen, aged 9 years, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. M.G. Rolen, who live 4 miles south of town, died quite suddenly Monday, The beginning of her illness was a chill on Sunday evening. Monday she was attacked with a kind of choking spell, from which she died. The burial took place at Dripping Springs.
