MRS. THOMPSON DRIPPING SPRINGS DIES EASTER DAY
Mrs. Willie D. Thompson, 89, of Dripping Spring community, following an illness of 10 day, died at the farm home Sunday afternoon at 2:34 o'clock.
Funeral services were conducted by Rev. L.R. Lamb Monday afternoon at Dripping Springs with interment there.  Short-Murray directed.
Mrs. Thompson was born December  5, 1847 in Kentucky, her parents being Mr. and Mrs. James Bradley.  She was married April 7, 1869 to Geo. W. Thompson.
Surviving are a son, V.L. Thompson of this city; granddaughters, Mrs. Bessie Follman of Colorado Springs; Mrs. Lillie Jones of Oklahoma City; Mrs. Willie Davis of Blochton, Arkansas; and Mrs. Willie Smith of California.  Grandsons are Robert and Howard Williams of Oklahoma City and Quinton Williams of Bowie.

CONDENSED HOME NEWS
Monday, December 23 - A distressing accident occurred last week at Dripping Springs district school.  Thos. Gaskell, the teacher, accidently shot and killed a pupil, Ida Thompson, aged 11 years.  The weapon was a .22 calibre rifle with which Gaskell was engaged in shooting birds.  The ball penetrated the child's brain.
