A farmer named Bud Bigby [sic] suicided near the Star settlement, Sunday.  He used a razor, severing the jugular vein.  The deceased was about 50 years of age and leaves a wife and 6 children.
He was in all probability, mentally deranged, over the death of a daughter, who shot and killed herself several months since.  Bigby has referred to the incident frequently of late, in fact, brooded over it.
