Pottsboros Oldest Resident Succumbs

Sherman, Texas, Aug. 4 - Mrs. Mattie Stowe, 90, died at her home in Pottsboro. Burial was in the cemetery at Dripping Spring.
Mrs. Stowe was the eldest citizen of Pottsboro. She is survived by three sons, Will Stowe of Bennington, Oklahoma, Jeff Stowe of Verdon, Oklahoma, and George Stowe of Carbon; three daughters, Mrs. M.C. Lee of Gracemont, Oklahoma, Mrs. Gertrude Boatman of Cisco and Mrs. Cora Boatman of Pottsboro.
