Services for Annie Estelle York, 82, were held at 2:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 2, at Huff Funeral Chapel in Whiteboro.  She died Sunday, February 28, 1988, in Medical Plaza Hospital in Sherman.
Rev. Charles Hite conducted the services.
Burial was in Dixie Cemetery under the direction of Huff Funeral Home.
Mrs. York wa born August 18, 1905, in Purcell, Oklahoma, the daughter of Joseph B. Judd and Cora E. Tower Judd.  She married Oscar Leamon York, on June 5, 1926, at Whitesboro.
She was a homemaker, and a member of First Christian Church in Whitesboro.
Surviving relatives are one son, Oscar York of Collinsville; one step-son Troy York of Pampa, TX; two daughters, Ann Morris and Bonnie Lowry of Whitesboro; one brother, J.B. Judd, Jr. of Los Angeles, Calif.; eight grandsons and 13 great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Harold Gunter, Grady Gunter, Gordon Brookshear, Jimmie Tom McDonnell; Ed Hayes, Tommy Neasbitt, and Clint Vaughn.

Funeral services for Oscar Leamon York, Jr., 56, were held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 25, 2001 at First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro with Dr. Roy Spores officiating.  Interment was in Dixie Cemetery under the direction of Huff Funeral Home.
He died Friday, September 21, 2001 in Siloam Springs, Arkansas.
Pallbearers were Jerry Simons, Larry Gressett, Joe Tishler, Dean Reed, Pete Mitcheson, Ronnie Clark, Ace Murrell and Duce Murrell.
Born July 22, 1945 in Whitesboro, he was the son of Oscar Leamon York, Sr. and Estelle Judd York.  He married Chery Lynn York October 12, 1968 in Bells.  He was a graduate of Whitesboro High School and a member of First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro.
He is survived by his wife, Cheryl York of Whitesboro; son and daughter-in-law, John Lesley and Talitha York of Whitesboro; sons, Troy Lynn York and Micheal Leamon York, both of Whitesboro; brother Troy York of Pampa, Texas; sisters, Bonnie Lowry and Ann Morris, both of Whitesboro; grandson, Travis York of Whitesboro; granddaughters, Morgan York of Whitesboro and Dianne York of colbert, Oklahoma; 3 brothers-inlaw and sisters-in-law, Hank and Denise Spruce, Jim and Mickey Stueck and Tim and Susan Detwiler; and mother-in-law, Carolene Brady.
Memorials may be made to the First United Methodist Church Building Fund, Whitesboro, Texas 76273.
