WHITESBORO- Funeral services for Hershel “Don” Bevan, 60, will be held on Saturday, August 1, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at the New Beginnings Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Duke Dowling officiating. Interment will follow at Dixie Cemetery in Whitesboro. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Family visitation will be on Friday, July 31, 2015 from 7:00 until 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
Mr. Bevan passed away on Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Medical Center of Plano.
Don Bevan was born on April 18, 1955 in Gainesville, Texas to Vohn Neal Brawdy and Edith Lorene (Gunter) Brawdy.
Survivors include his wife, Cyndi Bevan of Whitesboro; 5 children, James Bevan, Sandy Bevan, Joey Roberts, Sharron Ruiz
and John Bevan; 11 grandchildren; Shyann, Samantha, Abigail, Shelby, Seaghan, RebLynn, Tierra, Eva, Royce, Shay and Paul;
1 brother, Roy Bevan and 5 sisters, Jean Meals, Brenda Shaffer, Judy Heinz, Chris Davis and Mary Cundiff and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by his parents, and 3 brothers, Sonny Bevan, Allen Gunnells and Bill Gunnells.

Graveside services for Vohn "Sonny" Bevan, 60, of Gordonville will be held 2 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Dixie Cemetery with Pastor Chester Burgess officiating. Visitation will be 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at Clement-Keel Funeral Home.
Mr. Bevan passed away Wednesday, October 26, 2011 at Denton Regional Hospital.

Sonny Bevan was born to Von Neil and Lorene (Gunter) Browdy February 24, 1951 in Gainesville, Texas. He married Pauline Raymond April 1, 1974. Sonny worked for Lisa Trucking Company as a truck driver for several years. He was a member of Dixie Baptist Church.
Survivors of Sonny Bevan include his wife Pauline Bevan of Gordonville; sons and daughters-in-law, Yance and Nikki Bevan of Gordonville and Dempsey and Josie Bevan of Gainesville; grandchildren, Justice, Natachas, Calvin, Colby, Zackrey, Tyler, Ethan, Dalton, Sonnieann and Bently; brothers and sister-in-law, Don and Cindy Bevan of Whitesboro and Roy Bevan of New Boston; sisters and brothers-in-law, Jean and Mickey Meal of Whitesboro, Brenda and David Shaffer of Callisburg, Judy Heinz of Whitesboro, Christine and Mike Davis of Whitesboro and Mary and Danny Cundiff of the Pan Handle; aunts and uncles, Juanita and Don Snider of Woodbine, Lou Davis of Gainesville, Troy and Diane Andrews of Iowa and Richard and Janice Andrews of Gainesville; numerous nieces and nephews and in-laws, Paul Raymond, Vickie Bailey and Carol and Orville Harris.
