Whitesboro –Graveside services for J. E. Moore, 83, will be held Thursday, May 7, 2015, at 9:30 a.m. at Dixie Cemetery in Whitesboro, Texas with Rev. Lowell Howard officiating. All service arrangements are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. There will be no visitation services.
He died on Monday, May 4, 2015, at Wilson N. Jones Regional Medical Center in Sherman, Texas.
J. E. was born on May 7, 1931 in Cedar Mills, Texas to Jacob Moore and Cecilia (Anderson) Moore. He married Alma Reast in 1949 in Madill, Oklahoma.
He is survived by his wife, Alma Moore, of Whitesboro; and his son, Gary Moore, of Sioux Falls, SD.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Jacob and Cecilia Moore; sisters: Glenna Rawlins and Mary Pomikal; and brother, Grover Moore. - - - Meador Funeral Home



Whitesboro - Funeral services for Alma Jean (Reast) Moore, 86,  were held Thursday,  November 16, 2017 at First United Methodist Church in Whitesboro with Rev. Ken Hildebrand and Rev. Adam Spore officiating.  Interment followed at Dixie Cemetery.  Services under the direction of Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
Alma passed away Friday, November 10, 2017 in Sherman, Texas.
She was born January 11, 1931 in Sandusky to Howard O. and Etta Mae (Goldston) Reast.  She was a member of Key Memorial of Sherman and First United Methodist Church of Whitesboro.  Alma graduated from Whitesboro High School and late married J.E. Moore in 1949.  They were married 65 years upon his passing.  Her career in banking spanned 45 years, starting at M&P Bank and ending at American Bank of Texas.  She served in numerous capacities, eventually earning the title of Vice President.  Alma enjoyed gardening and sewing and loved her family greatly.
She is survived by her son, Gary Moore of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alma was preceded in death by her parents, husband; two brother, Kenneth Reast and James Reast; and two sisters, Mozelle Bell and Willene Weir.
