Hankins, who was killed on Okinawa, wiere held this afternoon at the Church of the Nazarene. Rev. John Thompson, local pastor, officiated. Burial was in Dixie Cemetery under direction of Richards-Beck Funeral Home, where the body was received Thursday morning. Born September 23, 1916 [sic], the serviceman was a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim Hankins. He is survived by 2 brothers, Ralph and Joe Hankins of Borger; and one sister, Mrs. L.D. Gullett of Arlington.
