Patsy passed away Saturday, Augugust 10, 2013 at Homestead of Collinsville.
Mrs. Goldston was born February 21, 1947 in Sherman, Texas, daughter of Lonnie and Jessie Ham. She married Loy Goldston January 9, 1981 in Durant, Oklahoma.
Patsy will be remembered by her family and friends as a person who loved to serve the Lord. She was an active member at the First Baptist Church of Dorchester, Texas, were she shined as a true leader in helping others. She was a wonderful cook and gifted crafter. Patsy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend.
Patsy is survived by her husband; Loy Goldston of Sadler, Texas; daughter; Donna Bellamy and husband, Larry, of Whitesboro, Texas, son; Danny Ray of Sherman, Texas ; daughter; Vanessa Walters of Whitesboro, Texas; son; James Goldston and wife, Karen, of Ocean Side, California; daughter; Carol Martin of Denison, Texas; daughter Tammye Corbin of Sherman, Texas; brother; Bobby Ray Ham and wife, Rosa, of Tom Bean, Texas; brother; J.W. Ham Sr. and wife, Frances, of Dorchester, Texas; sister; Imogene Henshaw and husband, Wilburn, of Arlington, Texas; brother; Altis Ham and wife, Ginger. of Dorchester, Texas; sister in-law; Laray Hamm of Tyler, Texas;,sister in-law; Lorene Shelton of San Antonio, Texas.
She was preceded in death by a son; James Jensen; brothers, "Tiny" Spurgeon Hickman and James Ham, sister; Pearl Pittman; brother; Jerry Wayne Hamm, sister; Sarah Mae Ham; brother; Billy Joe Ham; brothers in-law; Troy Goldston, Leon Goldston,  Delton Goldston and Johnny Goldston; sisters-in-law; Mildred Ferguson and Edna Tuley. 12 Grandchildren, 16 Great-Grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandson.


Jake Loy Goldston, 84, passed away May 12, 2022 in Sadler, Texas.
Loy was born October 2, 1937 in Sherman, Texas, son of Herman and Lois Goldston.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and loved going fishing.  Loy was an active member of the Dorchester Baptist Church for many years.  He began working for GTE as a lineman and retired after 30+ years in a management position with the company.
He is survived by his sons, Jim Goldston Donny Ray; daughters, Susie Martin; Tammye Corbin; Donna Bellamy; and Vanessa Walters; sister-in-law, Imogene Henshaw and husband, Wilbur; brother-in-law, Altis Ham and wife, Ginger; and his 13 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandson.
Loy was preceded in death by his wife, Patsy Ruth Goldston; brothers, Troy Goldston, Leon Goldston, Delton Goldston and Johnny Goldston; his sisters, Mildred Ferguson, Edna Tuley and Lorene Shelton.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon, May 18, 2022 at Waldo Funeral Home.  Bro. Bobby Fletcher officiated.  Burial followed at Dixie Cemetery, Whitesboro, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Dorchester Baptist Church or a charity of your choice in his name.
