Services for George Troy Goldston of 716 S. Ricketts, 46-year-old switchman for Southern Pacific Railroad who died Thursday
in a Sherman hospital, will be
held at 2 p.m. Saturday in Waldo Funderal Home Chapel.
Rev. Glen Reece of Forest Avenue Baptist Church will officiate, with burial at Dixie Cemetery north of Whitesboro.
Mr. Goldston was born in Sherman, the son of W.H. and Lois Stubblefield Goldston.  He was a switchman for the Southern Pacific Railroad for over 20 years.
He was in the Army from 1960 to 1962 and was a member of Pecan Grove Baptist Church.
Surviving are his mother; sons, Tracy Goldston of Howe and Justin Goldston of Sherman; daughters, Terrie Farris and Cheryl Goldston, both of Howe and Becky Goldston and Shauna Goldston, both of Sadler; brothers, Johnny Goldston of Chicago, Ill., Leon Goldston of Pottsboro, Delton Goldston of Sherman and Loy Goldston of Sadler; and sisters, Mrs. D.E. Ferguson of Van Alstyne, Mrs.J.L. Shelton of San Antonio and Mrs. Charles Tuley of sherman.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 to 8 p.m. Friday and other times at the residence
