Funeral services for Mrs. R.D. McCurdy, 76, who died at 7 p.m. Sunday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. W.M. Ingram, southwest of Whitewright, were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the Cross Roads Presbyterian Church.
The Rev. Ben Bell of Whitewright and the Rev. J.A. Henderson of Pilot Grove officiated.  Earnheart arranged for burial at
the Cross Roads Cemetery.  Pallbearers were J.R. McCurdy, Roscoe Dixon, Charlie Ingram, Essie Ingram, Orville Martin and Billy Giles.

Mrs. McCurdy was born in Arkansas July 15, 1864, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Thurman.  She was a member of the Westminster Methodist Church.
Survivors include six daughters: Mrs. W.M. Ingram of Whitewright, Mrs. B.M. Ingram of Blue Ridge, Mrs. A.W. Dixon of Oklahoma City, Mrs. O.T. Martin of McKinney, Mrs. Nora Webster and Mrs. Glen Giles of Anna; and two sons, Dee McCurdy of Bells and Nelce McCurdy of Lazbuddie.
