Rites Are Set For James Haning

Funeral services for James E. Haning, 69, of 201 Victory street, were held at Cooper Funeral Home chapel at 2:30 p.m. Sunday and Rev. Bob White, pastor of the Church of God, officiated.
He died in a VA hospital in
McKinney, September 21, 1962.
Interment was in the Desert cemetery. Pallbearers will be A. E. Thompson, W. H. Walker, Hershel Ashlock, B. W. Ashlock, Willie Beavers and A. C. Shannon.
The survivors are the widow, Mrs. Esther Rodgers Haning, of the home address; and a sister, Mrs. Frank Slaughter
of McKinney.
Mr. Haning was born September 23, 1892 in Texas. He was a retired railroad employee, a member of the Baptist church, and a veteran of World War I.
