Mrs. Una Gordon, who resided with her daughter, Mrs. J.K. Pace, of the Crossroads community, died at 6:20 o'clock last Saturday morning, lacking only two months having reached her 75th year.  She was the mother of seven children, five of whom survive and were at the bedside when her terrestrial sojourn was brought to an end.
The surviving children are: R.B. Gordon of this city, Mrs. W.D. Donaldson of Ravenna, Mrs. J.K. Pace and J.W. and D.C. Gordon of Cross Roads.
She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and had been a resident of this community for about 45 years, where she fulfilled well her obligations to the church and to the neighborhood in which she lived.  Her husband died 21 years ago.
The remains were buried at the community cemetery near Cross Roads Sunday afternoon, following funeral services conducted by Rev. Fender of Whitewright and Rev. Howard of Leonard, the casket bearing the body being tenderly deposited in its last home by eight of the decedent's grandchildren.
