GUNTER - Earline Evelyn Mullins, 81, passed away on December 8, at Hilltop Haven Christian Care Center in Gunter where she made her home the last 36 years.
Services will be held at the College Hill Church of Christ in Gunter at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, December 11, 2012 with visitation one hour prior to service. Allen Luker will officiate and the burial will follow at the Collinsville Cemetery.
Earline was born February 12, 1931 in Collinsville to Earl Mullins and Bernice (Light) Mullins, the oldest of their four children. At 10-years-old, the family moved to Gunter. Her parents preceded her in death; her father in 1962 and mother in 1997. Two life events stood out for Earline. First was her 21st birthday party given by Robert Fielder and Bill Barrett, who described her as a "Ray of Sunshine". The second event was her baptism July 17, 1963 by Bro. Ralph Godfrey. Earline is a member of the College
Hill Church of Christ. She will be remembered for the many lives she has touched. She will be sorely missed.

Pallbearers include Rusty Hunter of Gunter, Tommy Hunter of Sherman, Brian Swingle of Humble, Ron Meador of Dallas, Toby Lashbrook of Plano, and Chico Light of Collinsville.
Earline and her family would especially like to thank the outstanding nurses and care givers at Hilltop Haven who provided the best possible care for Earline these past 36 years. Also, thanks to all the many volunteers who provided so many daily activities for Earline and the many residents of Hilltop Haven. A special "thank you" to VNA Hospice and Christian Care Hospice who made Earline's time with them as comfortable as possible. May God bless you for all your care and compassion.
Earline is survived by her siblings, Dick Mullins and wife Virginia of Cartwright Okla., Patsy Swingle and husband Noel of Richardson, and Betty Hunter of Dorchester and her many nieces and nephews.
