HERMAN EDD HUDSPETH
Collinsville - Funeral services Hiram Edd Hudspeth, 63, who died at his home 3 miles east of Collinsville at 6:20 p.m. Monday were held at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Collinsville Church of Christ.  Mr. Hudspeth had been ill about two weeks following a stroke of paralysis.
Services were conducted by George Henry Stephenson of Paducah and H.F. Theron of Haskell.  Interment was in the Collinsville cemetery under the direction of Dannel-Scott of Sherman.
Mr. Hudspeth was born Feb. 4, 1872, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Hudspeth.  He married Miss Maggie Gordon in June 1900.  He had been a farmer all his life and a member of the Church of Christ for about 50 years.
He is survived by seven children: Mrs. Ella Meadow, Oscar Hudspeth and George Hudspeth, all of Frederick, Okla.; Mrs. Grace Bowling of Whitesboro; Mrs. M.M. Plexco, Miss Tillie Hudspeth and Raymond Hudspeth of Collinsville; three sisters, Mrs. Nannie Sanders of Collinsville; Mrs. Fannie Boles of Paden, Okla.; and Mrs. Mable Cooper of Portales, N.M.; and two brothers, Drew Hudspeth of Collinsville and John Hudspeth of Stephens County.
