Collinsville, Tex., June 19. – Yesterday morning up on Red River a sad accident happened to a fishing party from this place. While dragging a seine through pretty deep water John Steedman, Smith Hufford and Ab. Quattlebaum got into a whirlpool, and it was only with great difficulty the two latter got out, while the former sank and was seen no more.
A large party went from here t-day to search for his body. The unfortunate young man’s widowed mother is almost frantic over the terrible stroke. Later – A telegram states the body is found.
