SERVICES HELD FOR MRS. TUNNELL, 71
Services were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, February 14 at Richards-Beck Funeral Chapel for Mrs. Mavit Tunnell, 71, of 301 Market Street.
She died Thursday, February February 13 at her home after an illness of several months.
Rev. Foy Thomas, pastor of the First Methodist church conducted the services.  Burial was in the Collinsville cemetery.
Mrs. Tunnell was born September 28, 1892 in Collinsville.  Her parents were the late Mr. and Mrs. John V. Deaver.  In 1919 she married James F. Tunnell at Sherman.  He preceded her in death in 1949.  She was a member of the Methodist church.
Survivors include a brother, H.A. Deaver of Collinsville; five sisters, Mrs. E.B. Johns of Corcoran, California; Mrs. J.W. Slack, Mrs. T.A. Clement, Whitesboro; Mrs. A.J. Hayes, Fort Worth; and Miss Ida Deaver, San Antonio.
