Davidson 6 March 1905 - 3 September 1991   Mrs. Miriam Davidson Collinsville - Services for Mrs. Miriam Elizabeth Davidson, 62, will be held Thursday at 3 p.m. at the Richards Funeral Chapel in Whitesboro. She died Tuesday morning in a Sherman hospital. Mrs. Davidson was born June 19, 1910 in Collinsville, the daughter of the late Mr. & Mrs. J.M. Bates. She married Clifton Davidson September 27, 1934 in Collinsville. She attended school in Collinsville, Austin College and North Texas State University. She taught school for 18 years in the Collinsville area and for the last four years in Collinsville. She was a member of the Ethel Cumberland Presbyterian Church. Survivors are her husband; two sons, Ronald Davidson and Jon Clifton Davidson, both of Collinsville; four grandchildren; two brothers, Finis Bates of Sherman and Paul Bates of Pottsboro. Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society.
