BLAKELY RITES HELD SUNDAY IN COLLINSVILLE
Funeral services for Aristotle Blakely, 88, were held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the Methodist Church in Collinsville.  Rev. Richard Lantz, Rev. Hugh Newsom and Rev. Alba Bates officiated.  Interment was in Collinsville cemetery under the direction of Richards-Beck Funeral Home.
Mr. Blakely died at 12:30 a.m. Saturday, July 20, 1 963, in a Sherman hospital after a three week illness.
A native of Kentucky, he was born September 26, 1896, the son of Mr. and Mrs. George Blakely. He married Miss Era Mae Mullins, January 26, 1924 in Sherman.  A retired farmer and business man, he was a Mason and a member of the Odd Fellows.  He was a member of the Collinsville Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife; two sons, James E. Blakely of Odessa; and  Billie J. Blakely of Venezuela; three daughters, Mrs. Joe Phillips of Collinsville, Mrs. L.O. McFarland of Odessa, and Mrs. J.B. Crockett of Odessa; one brother, Paul Blakely of Winter Haven, Florida; three sisters, Mrs. John Causey of Winter Haven, Florida, Mrs. Abb Hendershot of Strong City, Oklahoma, and Mrs. H.E. Loy of Columbia, Kentucky; and 12 grandchildren.
Pallbearers : Dick Mullins, Robert Mullins, Ozell Blakely, Jack Blakely, Bob Blakely and Forest Lee Blakely.
