Monday, December 20, 1954 Section: Part 3, p. 11 Funeral services were conducted Sunday at the Collinsville Methodist church for Miles Oswald Gordon, 72, Collinsville farmer, who died Saturday at his home after six months illness. The Rev Alby Bates and the Rev. C. W. Bishop officiated. Burial was in Collinsville Cemetery. Gordon was born in Tioga in 1882. He was married to Miss Vena Brown at Tioga in 1912. He is survived by his wife; two daughters, Mrs. Charlie Miller of Sherman and Mrs. Ronald good of San Marcos; four sisters, Mrs. Edna Beck of Dallas, Mrs. Evie Henderson and Miss Let Gordon of Collinsville and Mrs. Alma Thompson of Arkansas, and two grandchildren.
