Wednesday, January 9, 1924 Section: Part One, p. 3 Collinsville, Grayson Co., Texas, Jan 8 -- Dr. E. D. Hughes veteran citizen of Collinsville, died of heart failure at 4:30 a.m. Tuesday at his home. He joined the Methodist church here in 1882. Dr. Hughes had served as Sunday school superintendent steward and trustee of the church. He is survived by his wife, four brothers, Morgan Hughes of Ohio, Pack Hughes of California, James Hughes of Kansas and Dr. H. A. Hughes of Arizona and a sister.
