 4th Addition, section 3   Kelly W. Reed 26 January 1904 - 26 March 1937 WHITESBORO, Texas, March 29 - Kelly W. Reed, 33, died suddenly here Friday. Funeral services were held Saturday at Collinsville. He is survived by his wife and two sons, Eugene and Carrol; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Kelly Reed of Ethel; two sisters, Mrs. Bernard Cobler, Denton; Mrs. Bill Dickson, Southmayd, and two brothers, Herbert Reed of Oklahoma and Joe Reed of Ethel.
The Sherman Herald Democrat March 23, 2008 GORDONVILLE - Graveside services for Thomas Eugene Reed, 78, will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 31, 2008, at Collinsville Cemetery, Collinsville, Texas with Rev. Rusty Waller officiating. Services are under the direction of Meador Funeral Home in Whitesboro. Family visitation will be from 6 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 30, 2008 at the funeral home. Mr. Reed passed away on Jan. 28, 2008 in Gordonville. Thomas Eugene was born on April 4, 1929 in Collinsville to Kelly White and Agnes (Baker) Reed. He married Patsy Arnold on Oct. 2, 1948. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Gordonville. Thomas was a truck driver for Denton Brothers Trucking in Collinsville; he had a passion for the trucking business. Thomas loved his family and his animals. He is survived by his wife, Patsy Reed of Gordonville; sons, Ronnie Reed of Whitesboro and Mark Reed of Seagoville; a daughter, Sherry Burkhalter and husband Randy of Sherman; sister, Linda Reasor of Whitesboro; brother-in-law, Lynn Arnold of Gordonville and two grandchildren, Brad Burkhalter of Dallas and Brianna Reed of North Liberty, Iowa. Pallbearers are: Franky L. Denton, Keith Hughes, Norman Denton, Gary Worthington, Jimmy Turpen and Joe Young.
