COLLINISVILLE - Services for J.G. (Jake) Pilcher will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Richards Funeral Chapel of Whitesboro.

Mr. Pilcher died Monday at his home in Collinsville.  Rev. Hugh Newsom, pastor of Miller Memorial Baptist Church of Collinsville, of which he was a member, will officiate.  Burial will be in Collinsville Cemetery directed by Richards Funeral Home.
He was born May 25, 1918, at Collinsville, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jim J. Pilcher.  He was married to Neva Joe Walkup Nov. 10, 1945 in Whitesboro.  He was a farmer and a veteran of World War II.
Survivors include his parents; two daughters, Barbara Pilcher of Collinsville and Mrs. Brenda Dotson of Farmers Branch; one grandson; one brother, Marshall Pilcher of Houston; four sisters, Mrs. Edna Soner of Healdton, Okla.; Mrs. Goldie Copeland of Tabin, N.M., Mrs. Amy Nichols and Mrs. Mattie May Aycock, both of Houston.
The family will be at the funeral home from 7 until 9 p.m. Tuesday.
