Funeral services were conducted at 2 o'clock Friday afternoon from the Richards-Beck Funeral Home chapel here in Whitesboro with Rev. Noah Hefley, officiating. Burial was in Collinsville Cemetery.
Mrs. Rosa Lee Parsons, 80, formerly of Whitesboro but who had been making her home recently in Euless, died there at 5 o'clock Wednesday afternoon of last week. Mrs. Parsons had been ill only a short time. She was born December 8, 1884, in Maude, and
was married to Earnest Parsons in 1916.  She was a member of the Nazarene Church.
Survivors include a son, Raymond Parsons, and a daughter Mrs. Billy Joe England of Euless. A step-daughter, Mrs. Ruby Faulkner, lives in Stillwater, OK.; a sister Mrs. Veda Bradshaw, lives in Loco, Okla. Other survivors include six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.
