Mrs. McWilliams Dead
On Wednesday, Feb. 7th (should be 6th), Mrs. S.J. McWilliams died at her home near Macomb. She was born in Mississippi in 1841 and came to this country 26 years ago.
She was the widow of the late W.T. McWilliams and leaves seven children surviving her, four sons, C.F. McWilliams of this place, and J.P., W.G. and Arch McWilliams of Macomb, and three daughters.
This good woman had been a member of the Methodist church for many years. She was loved and honored by her neighbors who knew her goodness of heart and who had felt many kind acts from her.
She was buried at Collinsville. Rev. Strother conducted the funeral service.
