Denison, Tex., May 23. - H. A. Coleman, colored, died at his home, two and one half miles east of the city, to-day at noon. Uncle Henry, as he was familiarly called, came to Texas when only 18 years of age, and should he have lived a few weeks longer he would have been 70 years old. He enjoyed the perfect confidence of all who knew him, and his death has caused much sorrow among the colored people, especially those of the African Methodist Episcopal church, of which he has been a member since long before the war. His remains will be interred to-morrow evening under the auspices of the colored masons, at the Coleman burial ground, near the old homestead. He was also the oldest colored Mason in Texas.
