STICE
Services for John Louis Stice, 79, of Anna were held Saturday in the First Baptist Church with burial in Coffman Cemetery.  He died May 17 in Wysong Hospital in McKinney.
Mr. Stice was born in Anna, a son of Mr. and Mrs. George Jefferson Stice and married Thelma Jones on March 18, 1932, in McKinney.  He was a farmer and a member of the First Baptist Church.
Surviving are his wife; son, John L. Stice Jr. of McKinney; sisters, Mrs. Ona Rollins, Mrs. Verline McCoy and Mrs. Winnie Mae Culver of Anna; Mrs. Lennie Holland of McKinney and Mrs. Mildred Blackey of Dallas; brother, Weldon Stice of Sherman; and two grandchildren. 
Flesher Funeral Home of Van Alstyne was in charge.

Thelma E. Stice
ANNA - Services for Thelma Elizabeth Stice, 83-year-old Anna resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday in the First Baptist Church in Anna.  She died Tuesday, Nov. 18, 1997, at Columbia Medical Center in McKinney.
David Meeks will officiate with burial in Coffman Cemetery.
Surviving are her son, John L. Stice of Melissa; and three grandchildren.
The family will be at Flesher Funeral Home in Van Alstyne from 7 to 8 p.m. Thursday.
