DENISON - John Grady Hart, 91, of Denison passed away November 25 at Denison Manor, Denison.  Mr. Hart was born on July 9, 1922, to E. L. "Cany" and Myra Hart in Denison. He married Anna Philips in 1967. He was a graduate of Denison High School. He worked as a wood worker for Millers Wood Work. He was a deacon at Community Baptist Church in Achille, Okla. He served his country as a staff sergeant in the U.S. Army during World War II.
He is survived by his spouse of the home; his children, John Gregory Hart of Philadelphia, Pa., Dean Cany Hart of Denison, Walter E. Hart of Denison, Kim Ellen Ulam and Mark of Bells; two grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2 at American Funeral Service Chapel, Denison. Family visitation will be one hour prior to service at 10 a.m. at American Funeral Service Chapel. Interment will be at Layne Cemetery, Denison. Pastor Bob Stevens and J.T. Welch will officiate.
Mr. Hart will be in state from noon - 5 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 1.
Pallbearers will be Buddy Williams, Darren Pitts, David Williams, Paul Sears, Jack Proffer and James Heflin.
Arrangements are under the direction of American Funeral Service, Denison.
