 The Denison Press Friday, November 6, 1959 pg. 5 Funeral services for Albert "Abe" Goode, 79, who died Friday morning at his home, were conducted Saturday with Rev. Guy Duff officiating. Services were at Bratcher chapel and burial at Layne. Goode was born November 24, 1879, his parents being Mr. and Mrs. Henry Goode. He was married August 11, 1911, to Miss Annie Johnson at Sulphur Springs. His wife passed away in1 943. He was a member of the Baptist church and lived in Sulphur, Oklahoma, before moving to Denison. Surviving are 2 sons, John of Denison; and Bud A. of Korea; daughters, Mrs. Fannie Strange and Mrs. Fred Mace, both of Denison; one brother, Bruce Goode of Ardmore; and a sister, Mrs. Lillie Cunningham of Phoenix, Arizona.
